This sculpture put up on the main street. It's uncle Stepan, sanitary technician. Often you can notice around visitors from other cities, who take picture. On holidays sombody set behind him glass of vodka or beer. Tradition :)

At last spring has come in my city. Icicles and puddles everywhere. Be careful if you going very close to the building - they can fall down!

Though there is public transport in Omsk - buses, trolley-buses, trams, the most popular meand of transport is small buses or marshroutkas (on the background). The reason is - they are faster, they are more in amount, and they can bring you where the buses don't go.

This is the enterence in one of the restaurants. Every time when I pass by, I think that it looks like a door into another world.

Snow figures

Snow figures are very popular in my country. This year one of them was cheese, a very big piece of cheese - a symbol of 2008 year.

Children

Children look like bear-cubs in winter because of large and loose fur-coats they are wearing. If you happen to watch it may make you laugh - their walkig is rather funny. And when they fall, they can not stand up by themselves and lie till help comes.

Hoar frost
